An insider says the pair "looked like they were on their way to getting engaged just a little while back," but "are going through a really difficult period right now." One source of the rift is Bilson's friendship with her Last Kiss co-star Zach Braff. "Zach calls Rachel a lot and they talk on the phone like girlfriends," says a source.
