Michael Kors shuns waif look

Famed American designer Michael Kors is hoping to start a new fashion trend - by refusing to use stick-thin models on his catwalks. "Thin is fine but it has to be healthy," Kors has said. "When I see a model come in and I look and I can tell this is not naturally how they're supposed to look, we don't book them." The designer and Project Runway judge has influenced the organizers of Fashion Week in Spain, where all catwalk models must take a body mass index test based on their weight and height.
