Bluebell Halliwell the subject of a child abuse probe

Spice Girls alum Geri Halliwell has asked police to investigate bruises found on her three-month-old baby Bluebell. Halliwell's assistant said the singer made a formal complaint to the London police Child Protection Unit on August 18 about "an incident concerning her daughter Bluebell whilst in the care of a temporary member of staff." The baby girl was allegedly bruised after being left in the care of a temporary staff member while Halliwell went for a walk at a golf club in England. A police spokesperson said, "We are investigating an allegation of physical abuse of a three-month-old baby. Inquiries continue but there have been no arrests." Halliwell's assistant says Bluebell is doing fine. "Bluebell is happy and well and there are no further concerns for her welfare."
