Victoria Beckham visited the city of Winnipeg, Canada, this week to make a possible denim deal with the manufacturers of Silver and 1921 jeans. "It's a major accomplishment for them if they do make this deal for her own [Victoria Beckham] line," an industry insider says. "Gwyneth Paltrow made Blue Cult successful by wearing her favorite jeans and having her picture taken." Company president Michael Silver said he was first approached about his 1921 brand jeans by the Beckhams in April. "We were contacted by Victoria Beckham and David Beckham who found the product in the store. [They] wanted to know who the heck made these jeans, where is this place called Winnipeg in Canada and how could they get more jeans."
