Lindsay Lohan is speaking out against rumors that she ditched a long-time friend for not being able to keep up with her wild lifestyle. The Mean Girls actress reportedly had Nate Newell fly from LA to NYC to accompany her on promotional duties for A Prairie Home Companion, but Newell flew home after three days - citing fatigue, and rumors began to fly. "Nate couldn't take her constant partying," a source told PageSix.com. "He didn't have the money to fly home, so concerned friends chipped in to buy him an immediate ticket out of there." Meanwhile, sources claim Lohan was busy texting other friends saying, "[Newell] is dead to me." Lohan's publicist refutes the story, saying, "Nate came to accompany her to New York on her press tour.
