American Pie star Natasha Lyonne's father has spoken out and threatened legal action against Gawker.com for publishing a comment describing his daughter as "looking like she is in a drug-induced coma," "covered in some sort of bad red rash" and "like she could die any minute." A sighting of the actress in Manhattan was reported on Gawker's Stalker site, but her father claims Lyonne is currently working in California. "Natasha is safe and sound in California, working on her role in Clara Bow," he told the New York Daily News. "Her sightings in New York by Gawker people is a lie, and if Mel Sachs [attorney] and our [lawyers] find out who is spreading these vicious lies, they will be dealt with legally, in an ugly, expensive matter." Lyonne reportedly checked into a Malibu rehab earlier this year, but her father did not confirm or comment on that story.
