The father of Oscar-nominated actress Michelle Williams was ordered to attend an extradition hearing on Wednesday in Australia over tax evasion charges in the States. In response to a request from U.S. authorities, Australian police arrested Larry Williams in May in Sydney, where the stock trader was about to embark on a 6-month speaking tour, and later released him on $753,000 bail. The IRS hopes to order Williams back to the U.S. to question him over $1.5 million in alleged unpaid taxes from book royalties and seminar earnings.
