Former View co-host Meredith Viera says she doesn't watch her old show anymore, claiming it has become "a joke." In an interview with Time magazine, the new Today Show anchor said, "I needed to think ahead. But I have to admit, the day after Star made her announcement, I watched. I feel very sad for everything that's happened and for everybody involved... It's hard to watch. It sort of became a joke." Viera said she couldn't say no to the opportunity offered to her at the Today Show. "It's an institution," she says. "I'm not somebody who loves getting up at four in the morning, so this might kill me, but we'll see."source
